Ntsoaki Elizabeth Mosia

"Being part of Compuware's Step Academy has made me realize how fortunate I am. It has boosted my self-esteem, opened opportunities for me in the IT industry, and has prepared me to face challenges and express myself professionally. To the ladies out there : believe in yourselves, never give up, use every opportunity presented to you wisely."

Elizabeth matriculated from Nkhobiso High School in 1998, where she thoroughly enjoyed mathematics and science. She was also the deputy chairperson of the Student Representative Council and enjoyed debate.

In 1999 Elizabeth completed a bridging course through Lerelatshepe College in order to register at Oval International Computer Education Centre in 2000. Elizabeth has completed two years of her three-year qualification with two distinctions up to date. Due to financial difficulties Elizabeth has been unable to complete the last year of her studies in 2003. During her studies Elizabeth enjoyed leadership roles when working in groups.

After her second year Elizabeth went on to work as a Councillor on the PPA Lovelife campaign as well as working as a Trainer in a HIV/AIDS awareness project.

Elizabeth has studied both C++ and VB. She is determined to find a job in the IT industry and in turn to complete her studies as finances become more readily available.

Elizabeth hopes to be established in the IT industry as she believes that her input could be valuable in 2010 when South Africa will be relying heavily on IT infrastructure to host the Soccer World Cup.
