"STEP Academy - It's the most rewarding and exciting
experience I've had. I met new people and challenges, adapted very
well to their behaviours and the new environment. I discovered myself
even more, had great fun, learnt independence and self-trust. Most
importantly, I've gained enormous knowledge on Software Testing
and its importance in the fabulous IT Industry. Thank you Compuware
for opening my doors to success!"

Virginia completed her matric in 1997 and passed with an exemption.
She was a prefect in matric and a very active student with dancing
and other activities. She then moved on to Boston City Campus and
started her training in IT.
She completed her modules, including C++, Java and Visual Basic,
but through the programme, was required to write international exams
to obtain the core certificate. Due to financial constraints, she
was unable to do so. At the same time, core modules were changed,
but she has completed the Diploma, even though it is under the name
of Diploma in Data Capture. In 2002, Virginia completed a three-month
PC Maintenance technicians training through AQ Solutions.
She has had a number of part time jobs in marketing, advertising
(including acting in television commercials) and journalism, all
of which has given her the confidence and experience to work with
people. Virginia's passion lies in IT and she thoroughly enjoys
programming and testing.
