Sindi is a mature, dedicated individual who is determined
to achieve her career goals, which are to become a highly
sought after developer within the corporate environment.
Sindi matriculated in 1993, the youngest in her class. She
was forced to stay at home for 2 years as she could not afford
to attend Technikon. Sindi washed clothes to earn enough money
to attend a computer literacy course for three months in 1996
and was then able to apply for a job to earn some money for
2 years to enable her to register with Technikon SA to study
a Diploma in IS.
Completed her first year subjects over three years, completing
only 2 subjects a year. Moved across to Technikon Pretoria
to continue with her diploma, which has been converted into
a B.Tech. Sindi was able to work while studying between 1998
and 2000.
Sindi is due to complete her final year part time at the
Technikon, but would like to get some work experience before
finalising her B.Tech. She is determined to finish.
Sindi has COBOL, Oracle, VB, C++ and Linux.
