Steve Erlank is Managing Director, co-founder and owner of the
Faculty Training Institute, a training company specialising on the
training needs of knowledge professionals. He holds a BCom (Hons)
degree in Information Systems and a BSc in Statistics, Accounting
and Computer Science, and is a professional member of the CSSA,
AIS, IEEE and IIBA.
His 30 years of IT experience range across the spectrum of IT jobs,
including technical, operations, development, project management,
business analysis and management, and eBusiness.
After a 10-year stint as a senior lecturer in Information Systems
at UCT, where he was privileged to work with some of the brightest
young minds in South Africa he moved full time into managing FTI.
He is busy with his 5th textbook, actively consults and lectures
in IT, and is a regular conference presenter. He is currently acting
President of the SA chapter of the International institute of Business
Analysis. His passion is challenging people to realise their talent
and potential.

Yuan joined Compuware in the August 1997 to work on Uniface product
line as a solution architect after spending 5 years as a senior
lecturer at South Bank University, London.
Dr Yuan Sun has been working on Object-Oriented technology since
the early 1990's. Since he joined Compuware in 1997, he has been
working in the area of componentised enterprise application development,
model driven architecture, application platform suit and service
oriented architectures, and of course, requirement management. He
has been involved with MDA/OptimalJ as an Evangelist since the beginning
of 2000 when he was building the very first applications with customers
using the MDA approach. He has been involved in numerous large projects
on enterprise application development as an architect.
